everybody wants an ending

I see you sitting down,
so soft and silent.
You've got that hidden frown,
But you're still smiling.
You still can't figure out,
If livings worth the price.
Your minds in constant bout,
Shame the opponents Mike
Tyson.
The thoughts an anchor its
tied on.
Your eyes are sunk like ships
tired one.
Just want to sleep but scared to
try once...

Drowning in the pessimism,
Begging for an ear to listen,
Running from a faulty system,
But the wires run for miles,
And the copper in the cables,
Is heavy on your ankles.
To busy looking for an off switch,
To consider disconnecting.
Thunder before the storm
Never heard, never noticed
